Red Oak Food Management is a management and consulting agency based in the United States. We are specialized in Italian specialty products and provide services to American retailers, distributors and Italian manufacturers.

We support the entire lifecycle of Italian food products. We act as an importing agent for producers, managing container shipments, from port consolidation through customs clearance. We serve as American headquarters and offer complete branch management for brands.

Who does Red Oak Management work with?

Red Oak Management works with producers and contract manufacturers to bring Italian products to US distributors, retailers and restaurants. Red Oak Mgmt is the b-to-b liaison between product and buyer.

I produce an Italian product, but I have never exported it. Can Red Oak help me?

Yes! Red Oak Management will analyze the US retail market and find the best opportunity for each product, personally presenting the product to retailers and writing a business plan to scale growth. Once approved, we navigate all of the customs, compliance and logistics to deliver product to stores.

What about Private Label compliance?

As with all of the business services we provide, Red Oak Food Management navigates all compliance regulations. So, if it’s nutrition facts (NLEA), health claims (FDA), quantity declarations (FPLA) or allergen disclosure (FALCPA), our team provides expert guidance and review.


Is Red Oak Management a broker?

In a word, yes, we are food brokers. But we’re so much more than a traditional broker. The Red Oak team is integrated in the business and deeply invested in the success of customers and producers. We monitory the supply chain, including raw material availability and crop yields. We help both customers and producers develop forecasts. We negotiate ocean and land freight and navigate delays.
